静电除尘空气净化器利用高压直流电场使空气中的
气体分子电离，产生大量电子和离子，在电场力的作用下向两极移动，在移动过程中碰到气流中的粉尘颗粒和细菌使其荷电，荷电颗粒在电场力作用下向自身电荷相反的极板做运动，在电场作用下，空气中的自由离子要向两极移动，电压愈高、电场强度愈高，离子的运动速度愈快。由于离子的运动，极间形成了电流。开始时，空气中的自由离子少，电流较少。电压升高到一定数值后，放电极附近的离子获得了较高的能量和速度，它们撞击空气中的中性原子时，中性原子会分解成正、负离子，这种现象称为空气电离。空气电离后，由于连锁反应，在极间运动的离子数大大增加，表现为极间的电流（称之为电晕电流）急剧增加，空气成了导体，高强电压捕获附带细菌颗粒，瞬间导电穿由蛋白质组成的细胞壁，达到杀灭细菌吸附除尘。
Electrostatic precipitation is one of the methods of gas precipitation. The dust containing gas is electrically separated when it passes through a high voltage electrostatic field, and the dust particles are combined with negative ions and charged negatively, then tend to discharge to the anode surface and are deposited. It is used in metallurgical and chemical industries to purify gases or to recover useful dust particles. A dust collection method that uses an electrostatic field to ionize the gas so that the dust particles are electrically adsorbed onto the electrodes. In a strong electric field, the air molecules are ionized into positive ions and electrons, and the electrons run towards the positive electrode when they meet the dust particles, which are negatively charged and adsorbed to the positive electrode to be collected.
The steel mill dust collector is divided into 24 bins, arranged in two columns with the inlet and outlet total air ducts in the middle. There are partitions between the compartments to achieve off-line dust cleaning. There is a baffle plate between the air inlet and the filter bag of each compartment, and the air inlet is taken on the inside of the box.
Wet electrostatic precipitator, electrostatic precipitator that uses water spray or overflow water to form a water film on the surface of the dust collection pole to achieve pole plate cleaning. Wet dust removal can avoid the re-fluttering of settled dust and achieve high dust removal efficiency. The operation is more stable because there is no vibrating device, but there are problems of corrosion, sludge and sewage disposal. Application is not as wide as dry electrostatic precipitator.
